Bulgarian Prime Minister Radev Warns the West about Nuclear Risks

Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev made significant statements in Ankara. Radev emphasized that the collective West's policy of achieving a conventional victory against Russia, the world's largest nuclear power, is misguided.
Radev spoke to journalists on the sidelines of the NATO Summit, stating that the collective West is seeking a conventional victory against Russia without having sufficient capacity to counter its hypersonic missiles. Radev said, 'As the collective West, we are trying to achieve a conventional victory against the largest nuclear power without having sufficient capacity to counter its hypersonic missiles. This sharply increases the risk of escalation and nuclear response. This is very dangerous.'
Radev drew attention to the danger posed by current policies, emphasizing the need to avoid moves that could trigger escalation. Radev added that a solution should be sought through diplomatic means, saying, 'We must create the necessary conditions for diplomacy and peace as soon as possible and not fuel escalation.'
