Armed Incident Between Couple in Divorce Proceedings

In Tekirdağ, a 64-year-old woman, R.I., encountered her husband, also 64, at a buffet, while they were in the process of getting a divorce. The woman pulled out a gun from her bag and pointed it at her husband, pulling the trigger, but the gun jammed. This incident occurred at a buffet in Çerkezköy district, Bağlık Mahallesi, Kartal Sokak. When M.I., 64, entered the buffet, she encountered her husband, R.I., 64, with whom she was in the process of getting a divorce. M.I. pointed the gun at R.I. and pulled the trigger, but the gun did not fire. As R.I. tried to take the gun from his wife's hand, he was slightly injured on his face due to the gun's handle. Police teams were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report. In her initial statement to the police, M.I. claimed that she acted out of temporary anger due to a disagreement with her husband. The incident, including the woman pointing the gun at her husband and the gun jamming, was captured by the security camera at the buffet.
