Truck Carrying Military Ammunition Overturns on Bolu Mountain: D-100 Closed to Traffic

A truck believed to be carrying military ammunition overturned on the Bolu Mountain pass in the Kaynaşlı district of Düzce. Following the accident, a section of the D-100 highway in the direction of Istanbul was closed to traffic.The accident occurred at the Bakacak location, where the truck lost control and overturned. While the driver's identity has not been determined, security measures have been intensified in the area.According to information from authorities, the containers in the truck's dorse section are thought to be carrying military ammunition. It was announced that the section of the D-100 highway in the direction of Istanbul was closed due to security concerns.Upon receiving the notification, police, gendarmerie, highway, and fire departments were dispatched to the scene. The teams increased security measures and initiated work to reopen the road to traffic.The area is being cordoned off with a security strip about 1 kilometer from the accident site, and vehicles traveling in the direction of Istanbul are being diverted to the Darıyeri Hasanbey village road.
