Investigation Launched Over Forest Fire in Bilecik

A fire broke out in a wheat field in the Gölpazarı district of Bilecik, and spread to the nearby forest area due to the wind. Many teams were dispatched to the area to respond to the incident. The fire was brought under control and extinguished with the help of 60 personnel, 19 fire trucks, 8 water tankers, and 7 helicopters.An investigation has been launched against the operator who allegedly caused the fire. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
