Second Wave Operation Against Beykoz Municipality: 2 Detainees Arrested

A second operation was conducted as part of the investigation into allegations of 'bribery' and 'embezzlement' at the Beykoz Municipality. In this operation, 6 suspects were detained.The detained suspects were taken to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. Following the interrogations by the prosecutor's office, the suspects were brought before the on-duty criminal court of first instance. As a result of the court's decision, 2 suspects were arrested, while 4 suspects were released on judicial control. An arrest warrant was also issued for 2 suspects who are currently at large.The investigation, led by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is related to allegations of 'bribery' and 'embezzlement' during the term of Alaattin Köseler, the former Mayor of Beykoz who was removed from office.More information about the investigation is expected after the operation.
