Beşiktaş Police Station Attack: Demanded Penalties for 14 Suspects Revealed

The investigation into the terrorist attack on a police station in Beşiktaş, targeting the police point in front of Yapı Kredi Plaza, has been completed, and an indictment has been prepared for 14 detained suspects.In the indictment, the suspects are charged with 'attempted murder', 'attempting to overthrow the constitutional order', 'membership in an armed terrorist organization', and 'purchasing, carrying, or possessing unlicensed firearms and ammunition', with requested penalties ranging from aggravated life imprisonment to 19-37 years in prison.The indictment has been sent to the Istanbul 26th Heavy Penal Court for evaluation, where the trial of the suspects will begin.
