Beşiktaş Chairman Adalı Makes Statements: 'We Did Not Want and Therefore Did Not Sign Salah'

Beşiktaş Chairman Serdal Adalı made statements regarding the transfer of Muhammed Salah to Trabzonspor. Adalı stated, 'We did not want this transfer, we did not sign this player.' Chairman Adalı mentioned that he has been following the writings in the media and social media with sorrow.
Emphasizing that no one has been able to take a player from Beşiktaş's hands, Adalı said, 'Our community and our fans should know well that to date, no one has been able to take a player from Beşiktaş's hands during my tenure.'
Adalı also added that they have good relations with Trabzonspor. 'We are continuing with transfers in a controlled manner, as we had planned and programmed at the start of the season. The transfers we have made are evident. Six players have arrived. Trossard will join the team from next week. We have upcoming transfers. Those will arrive after next week.'
Highlighting that Leandro Trossard's license issue was resolved last night, Adalı said, 'They are waiting for approval due to the time difference from England. Today, the coach left him to continue his training here. Hopefully, he will be ready to play in the second match. No one should be discouraged, no one should be upset. We are talking about a player we did not sign, not because we could not sign him. I wish him success. Hopefully, he will be very successful.'
