Western Sanctions Hit BRICS Wall: Russia Strengthens Economic Ties with China and India

BRICS International Congress President Anand Purnima stated that despite severe economic sanctions imposed by the Western world, BRICS countries, particularly China and India, have played a crucial role in maintaining economic relations with Russia.
Purnima noted that the pressure of sanctions has created new opportunities for the Global South alliance.
The BRICS member countries have established sustainable ties with the Russian Federation. In this process, China and India have taken on a vital responsibility in maintaining trade partnerships and have acted as a bridge in opening up the Russian economy.
Anand Purnima pointed out that the balance of power between economic blocs has changed, highlighting the official visits to China and India by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The imposed embargoes and restrictions have become a driving force for BRICS countries and the Global South to become more closely linked and develop new trade routes, rather than isolating Russia.
