Mine Collapse in Bartın: Young Worker Loses Life

A mine collapse in the Amasra district of Bartın resulted in the death of 27-year-old worker Mert Ali Arslantürk.The incident occurred during gallery opening work at a mine in the Tarlaağzı village area. Arslantürk was buried under debris at a depth of minus 410 meters. Following the notification, health and rescue teams, along with his workmates, managed to extract Arslantürk from under the rubble, injured. After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the young worker was taken to Amasra State Hospital by ambulance. Despite the doctors' efforts, he could not be saved and lost his life.
