Large Forest Fire in Balıkesir: Intervention Continues

A large-scale forest fire broke out in a rural area of Edremit, Balıkesir.The fire, which started in the Narlı district for an unknown reason, is being evaluated as possibly caused by a lightning strike.Firefighters and teams from the Balıkesir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the scene.The teams are working intensively from both the air and the ground to bring the fire under control. Information was provided about the developments in the fire area.
