Balçova Mayor Onur Yiğit Released Under Judicial Control

Balçova Mayor Onur Yiğit was released under judicial control as part of the bribery investigation into Seferihisar Municipality. Following their detention by the İzmir Police Department's Financial Crimes Unit, Onur Yiğit and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and Güzelbahçe Municipality Council Member D.B. and E.K. completed their procedures. The suspects were referred from the İzmir Police Department's Yeşilyurt Service Building to the Seferihisar Courthouse. Onur Yiğit and D.B. were released under judicial control after being presented to the on-duty judge. It was learned that Seferihisar Mayor İsmail Yetişkin and 19 other suspects were still being processed at the police station.
