Minister Bayraktar Announces Nuclear Energy Goal: Turkey to Become a Technology-Producing and Exporting Country

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar attended the Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum and explained Turkey's goal of energy independence. Minister Bayraktar shared the country's objectives regarding Black Sea natural gas, international exploration activities, nuclear energy, offshore wind farms, and renewable resources. He emphasized that Turkey will become a country that produces and exports technology, rather than just using it. Minister Bayraktar highlighted the significance of energy diplomacy at the panel. He stated that Turkey is not only focused on energy sources within its own borders but is also conducting exploration activities in various geographies, including Somalia, Pakistan, Libya, and Syria. He assessed that Turkey has become a more effective actor in energy diplomacy and that its energy exploration efforts have expanded to different regions.
