Donated Hair Brings Hope to Young Girl

In Hatay, a 9-year-old boy named Deniz Güzel donated his hair to make a wig for an 8-year-old girl named Hülya Akar, who lost her hair due to a brain tumor. The decision to donate his hair came after watching promotional content for children with leukemia on screen. His family informed the Hatay Disabled Social Entrepreneurship Center about this decision. The wig made from Güzel's hair was given to Akar, who felt the joy of having hair again, even if it was just a wig: "I feel very good, I'm fine. Thank you very much to Deniz for donating his hair to me." Deniz Güzel also felt happy to have brought hope to someone else. During the event, Güzel and Akar cut a cake and released balloons into the sky with the other children at the center.
