UAE Extradites Notorious 'Crime Boss' Daniel Kinahan to Ireland

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extradited Daniel Kinahan, a man accused of leading an organized crime group and one of Ireland's most wanted individuals, to Irish authorities. Kinahan was handed over to Ireland under an extradition agreement between the UAE and Ireland. He had been detained in Dubai in April and is accused of managing an organized crime group, murder, and drug trafficking. It is reported that Kinahan had been living openly in Dubai for about 10 years. Following years of investigations by Ireland's Garda National Drugs and Organized Crime Bureau, Kinahan's arrest upon entering the country is expected. The Irish press reports that Kinahan is expected to be brought before the Special Criminal Court in Dublin, where he will face charges of managing organized crime.
