Arrest Requested for Sharing Posts About Aziz Yıldırım's Daughter

A person who shared posts about Aziz Yıldırım's daughter Yaz Yıldırım on social media has been referred to court with a request for arrest. This development came after Aziz Yıldırım reacted by saying 'what do you want from my daughter' and filed a complaint. Aziz Yıldırım had submitted a complaint petition through his lawyer to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, claiming that a chat group was formed on a social media platform where systematic 'unlawful dissemination of personal data', 'threats', and 'insults' were directed at him and his under-aged daughter. The suspect, Cengiz Y., was taken into custody following an investigation by the Istanbul Police Department's Cybercrime Unit. After completing his procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the Bakırköy Courthouse and presented to the prosecutor. The prosecutor's referral letter stated that the victim's name and photo were within the scope of personal data and that the action was carried out unlawfully and without the victim's consent.
