European Housing Market Sees Upturn: Sales on the Rise

The European housing market has begun to recover in 2025. According to Eurostat's published data, housing sales have increased in many countries across the continent. Slovenia achieved the highest annual increase in housing sales. Slovenia was followed by Lithuania, Austria, and Belgium. Luxembourg, Hungary, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, and Portugal also recorded double-digit growth. Latvia, Finland, Norway, and Spain were also among the countries where housing sales increased. On the other hand, countries where sales declined included Croatia, Bulgaria, and Poland.
