The European Union Has Become a Party to the Conflict
The European Union's (EU) extensive financial support to Ukraine and its imposition of sanctions on Russia have caused the EU to lose its neutrality. Tino Chrupalla, co-chair of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, criticized this situation, emphasizing that the EU has become a direct party to the conflict.Chrupalla stated that the relations between Germany and Russia will improve when politicians who produce 'hostile rhetoric' leave the stage.

With the 90 billion euro package for Ukraine and new sanctions on Russia, Europe has become a direct party to the conflict.

Targeting the current federal government, Chrupalla said that they are trying to position the country based on a constant 'enemy image' in foreign policy.

If Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul says 'Russia will always be our enemy', I say: Mr. Wadephul will not remain foreign minister forever, and the friendship between the two nations will be re-established.

Chrupalla noted that the government's approach not only increases tensions abroad but also within the country.

The government positions the country based on a constant 'enemy image' in foreign policy, an approach that increases tensions not only abroad but also within the country.
