Europe Realizes There Are No Security Guarantees from the US

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Europe no longer trusts the US's security guarantees and is rapidly becoming a military-economic bloc. Peskov emphasized that the European Union's period of relying on the US for security has ended, and the continent is rapidly arming itself to become a military-economic bloc. This militarization process in Europe will force Russia to take additional measures to ensure its national security, Peskov underlined, adding that Russia had repeatedly warned the West about threats to its security before launching a special military operation in Ukraine in 2022, but the West did not heed these warnings. Peskov noted that European taxpayers are being subjected to intense propaganda to justify increased military spending, and Ukraine has become a tool for Europe to continue the war against Russia.
