Investigation into Avcılar Municipality for 'Tender Rigging': 12 Suspects in Court

An investigation into the Avcılar Municipality's Fen Works Directorate for allegedly rigging a tender in 2022 by accepting high bids without conducting a cost analysis has led to the detention of 12 suspects, who were later referred to the Küçükçekmece Courthouse. The suspects, who were apprehended in a simultaneous operation in Istanbul, Ankara, Balıkesir, and Bitlis, underwent procedures at the police station before being taken to court.

Seçkin Özcan, Chairman of the Approximate Cost Commission and Tender Commission, İsmail Kurtuluş, member of the Approximate Cost Commission, Salman Kalmaz, member of the Approximate Cost Commission and Tender Commission, Nevzat Yalçın, Director of Fen Works and tender authority, Dursun Yavuz, Kemal Baki, Kemal Kenar, members of the Tender Commission, and officials of some construction and asphalt companies, including Gülay Güneş, Burak Güneş, Furkan Karaca, Behçet Hırdar, Celal Hırdar, Mustafa Timur, and Yüksel Kırıcı.
