The Reopening of Military Hospitals on the Agenda

The Ministry of National Defense responded to the call of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli to reopen military hospitals. The Ministry stated that work is underway to update the military healthcare system. The MSB stated at its weekly briefing that efforts to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces in the best way possible are ongoing. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli had previously stated that the closure of military hospitals was a mistake and that reopening them would be a righteous act. The opening date of the Ay-Yıldız Joint Headquarters was also announced. The Ministry noted that the headquarters will come into service in 2028. However, the headquarters will host the NATO Leaders' Summit on July 7.
