Fatal Accident in Antalya: 2 Workers Electrocuted as Crane Comes into Contact with Power Lines

A tragic accident occurred in Antalya's Kemer district when a crane used for transporting household goods came into contact with power lines. The incident resulted in the electrocution of two workers, who unfortunately could not be saved despite all efforts.Two workers, İbrahim Güneş (30) and İsmail Aktaş (24), were electrocuted when the crane they were operating touched a power line while they were working to transport goods to a house. Following the incident, emergency services, including the District Gendarmerie Command and 112 Emergency Health teams, were dispatched to the scene. Güneş and Aktaş were rushed to the hospital, with Güneş being taken to Kemer State Hospital and Aktaş to Kumluca State Hospital, where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.An investigation into the incident has been launched.
