Antalya's 'Smiling Face' Operation: 4 Scammers Arrested

In Antalya, 4 individuals who sold fake gold teeth to jewelers were arrested as a result of the 'Smiling Face' operation. The operation, conducted by the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch teams, found that the suspects had sold 15 fake gold teeth to a jeweler. It was also determined that the suspects had sold fake gold teeth to a jeweler in another province using the same method. 79 fake gold teeth were seized during the operation. The suspects were arrested after being referred to the courthouse for 'qualified fraud'. According to a statement by the Antalya Governorship, the operation is evaluating whether the suspects have acted in a similar manner in other provinces. The materials seized during the searches of the suspects' vehicle and hotel room were confiscated for examination.
