The 2,000-Year-Old Hıdırlık Tower in Antalya is Now Open to Visitors

The Hıdırlık Tower, which has a history of approximately 2,000 years in Antalya, has opened its doors to visitors after a long period of work. The Hıdırlık Kulesi Çevresi Arkeolojik Kazı ve Seyir Terası Projesi, carried out by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, has been completed. With this project, the area has been transformed into a new cultural route for both the city's residents and tourists. Within the scope of the project, where the historical texture was preserved and rearranged, many remains that shed light on the city's past, which were revealed during archaeological excavations, were presented to the visitors' attention. Thanks to the glass surfaces on the walking route created in the project, visitors will be able to closely examine the historical remains that stretch from the ancient period to the Republican period. The viewing terrace built on the cliffs will also offer visitors the opportunity to watch the Mediterranean view.
