Forest Fires in Antalya and Balıkesir: Teams Battle the Flames

Forest fires broke out in Antalya's Aksu and Balıkesir's Bigadiç districts. In Aksu, a fire started in the forested area of Yurtpınar Mahallesi due to an unknown reason. The Regional Directorate of Forestry and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality fire departments were dispatched. The fire is being fought with 2 planes, 2 helicopters, 6 fire trucks, 2 water supply vehicles, initial response vehicles, and numerous forestry workers. In Bigadiç, a fire that started in an agricultural area in Yeniköy Mahallesi spread to the forest due to the wind. The Balıkesir Regional Directorate of Forestry and fire departments were directed to the scene. The teams continue their efforts to bring the flames under control.
