Fight Against Forest Fire in Antalya Kaş Continues

The battle against the forest fire in Antalya's Kaş district is ongoing for the second day. Teams have been working through the night in the rugged and rocky terrain. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı called on citizens to be cautious.The fire is being fought with aerial support from helicopters and fire extinguishing planes since the first light of dawn. 26 water trucks, 9 water supply vehicles, 5 first response vehicles, and 155 technical personnel along with firemen are involved in the efforts.Minister Yumaklı, in his social media post, mentioned that strong winds are expected and warned of the need for caution. He emphasized the importance of maximum sensitivity in preventing forest fires.
