Ankara to Get New Metro Line to Ease Transportation

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is working on a new project to strengthen the city's transportation network. Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş made an important announcement on his social media account, stating that a new metro line will be built between Koru–Yaşamkent and Koru–Bağlıca. Mayor Yavaş stated that the new metro line has been included in the investment program and the construction tender will be held in July. The project involves the construction of 5 new stations on a total line of 9.36 kilometers. Additionally, work is ongoing for the M5 Kızılay–Dikmen and M6 Çayyolu–Sincan connection lines. The new transportation line is expected to significantly alleviate Ankara's traffic problems. The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to strengthen its transportation infrastructure.
