Traffic Restrictions in Ankara

The Ankara Governor's Office announced the measures taken for the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held on July 7-8. Some roads in Ankara will be closed due to the summit. Especially, attention should be paid to the exits of Esenboğa Airport and Ankara (Etimesgut) Airport. Between 6-9 July 2026, some routes will be closed to scooter and courier traffic. Fuel tankers, concrete mixers, tow trucks, and heavy-tonnage vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city. Special routes have been designated for vehicles carrying food and medicine.
