Ankara Sees Large-Scale Drug Bust: 93 Kilograms of Metamfetamine Found in Onion Sacks

A major drug operation was conducted in Ankara, resulting in the seizure of a significant amount of narcotics hidden in onion sacks. The operation, led by the Ankara Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, was part of an investigation that also involved the Ağrı and Haymana Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices. On August 9, a search in Haymana yielded 93 kilograms and 120 grams of metamfetamine, concealed in 90 separate packages within onion sacks. Two suspects were taken into custody in connection with the incident, and they are facing charges related to the production and trade of narcotics.
