Ankara Water Supply Controversy: ASKİ Denies Claims of Waterborne Health Issues

Claims of health issues due to the water supply in Ankara have been circulating recently. ASKİ has denied these claims and issued a statement.
According to ASKİ's statement, the drinking water distributed in Ankara is constantly monitored. The quality of the water is controlled within the scope of the inspections and sampling studies carried out by the Ministry of Health Ankara Provincial Health Directorate. The water supplied to the network is also analyzed 24/7 at ASKİ General Directorate laboratories and monitored in real-time.
The statement reads, 'The results of the analyzes carried out by the Ministry of Health and ASKİ laboratories show that there is no negative situation in the drinking water supplied to the network in Ankara that threatens public health. The new analysis results received today also confirmed that the drinking water meets all quality parameters.'
