NATO Summit Preparations in Ankara
Ankara is preparing to host the 36th NATO Summit of State and Government Heads. As part of the preparations for the summit, which will take place on July 7-8, various measures have been taken by the Ankara Governorship.These measures include the closure of certain roads during the summit and the implementation of parking bans on specific routes. The aim is to ensure the security of the delegates attending the summit and to regulate city traffic.Additionally, roads with restricted access for motorcycle couriers and areas with parking bans have been designated. Special arrangements have been made for trucks carrying food, fuel, and medicine. Temporary restrictions have also been imposed on air traffic at Esenboğa Airport.The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced on its social media account that, in accordance with NOTAM, there will be temporary restrictions on air traffic at Esenboğa Airport at certain times.
