Traffic Measures Taken for 36th NATO Summit in Ankara

The Ankara Governorship has announced traffic and security measures for the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held on July 7-8, 2026. Many streets will be closed to traffic during the summit.
According to the governorship's statement, from 07.00 on July 7 to 23.59 on July 8, many streets around the Presidential Complex will be closed to traffic. In addition, many streets in the areas where the participating state and government heads will be staying will also be closed to traffic.
As part of the measures, parking will not be allowed on some streets in the Yenimahalle and Çankaya districts. According to the governorship's statement, some main roads on the routes used by the visiting state and government heads and their delegations will be closed to traffic only during convoy passages.
