Ankara-Kayseri Travel Time to Be Reduced to 1 Hour 45 Minutes

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the completion of the Yerköy-Kayseri High-Speed Train Line will reduce the travel time between Ankara and Kayseri from 7 hours to 1 hour 45 minutes. Significant progress has been made in the project, with the aim of completing it in the second half of 2028. The high-speed train can reach speeds of 250 kilometers per hour.The Yerköy-Kayseri High-Speed Train Line is an important part of the Ankara-Yerköy-Kayseri High-Speed Train (YHT) Project. Uraloğlu provided information about the project, stating that the line is 142 kilometers long and has 5 stations. As part of the project, a total of 22 tunnels with a length of 20.5 kilometers and 27 railway bridges with a length of 6,608 meters are being built.
