Driver Who Refused Breathalyzer Test Fined Heavily

In a crash that occurred in Kayseri, the driver of a panel van, F.B., gave health teams a hard time and also refused to take a breathalyzer test. After the vehicle crashed into the sidewalk due to the driver losing control of the steering wheel, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver, who rejected the medical team's treatment request, tried to prevent the team from leaving by standing in front of the ambulance door.An investigation by traffic police found that the driver's license had previously been revoked for drunk driving. The driver was fined 350,000 lira for both driving without a license and refusing to take the breathalyzer test. A detailed inspection of the vehicle revealed that the panel van involved in the crash did not have insurance or a vehicle inspection. The vehicle, which was banned from traffic, was towed to a secure parking lot.
