AK Party and New Party Discuss 'Turkey Without Terrorism' Bill

AK Party Group Deputy Chair Abdulhamit Gül and Turkish Grand National Assembly Justice Commission Chair Cüneyt Yüksel visited the New Party parliamentary group. During the visit, information was provided about the 'Bill on National Solidarity and Strengthening Social Integration' prepared under the 'Turkey Without Terrorism' initiative.New Party Group Deputy Chair Murat Emir stated that they received general information about the bill during the meeting, but the proposal has not yet taken the form of a concrete text. Regarding the scope of the regulation, he stated, 'We understand that a temporary law specific to the PKK/KCK organization and its extensions is being considered, and a regulation is being designed to postpone the execution of certain types of crimes with this law.'
