Ministry of Family Intervenes in Domestic Violence Case

The Ministry of Family and Social Services has intervened in the case of D.D., a woman who was subjected to domestic violence in Ankara. The Ministry announced that it will provide support to the woman and intervene in the upcoming lawsuit.The Ministry, in coordination with law enforcement, will provide psychosocial support and guidance services to the victim.The Ministry will follow the legal process to ensure that violence against women is not left unpunished, in line with the principle of zero tolerance for violence.The statement said, 'We will intervene in the upcoming lawsuit to ensure that the perpetrator receives the punishment they deserve. Violence against women is a crime against humanity.'
