Statement of Businessman Hüseyin Başaran, Detained in Ahbap Investigation

Businessman Hüseyin Başaran, who was detained as part of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, made significant statements in his statement. Başaran thinks that Haluk Levent acted out of sensitivity to his daughter Mina Başaran. Hüseyin Başaran stated that he sold a total of 22 real estates to Haluk Levent between February and April 2026.The total value of the real estates sold was stated to be 2 billion 298 million 985 thousand 908 TL. Başaran said that all protocols and deed records related to the sales are available to him. Stating that Haluk Levent wanted the transfer of the sold real estates to be made to a person named Yeliz Kaya, Başaran noted that Yeliz Kaya is the authority for the funds to be received from abroad.Başaran stated that only a small portion of the 22 real estates was paid, and after that, they began to suspect the situation and, as a result of the research they conducted, Yeliz Kaya transferred these real estates to another person named Esin Önder Çağlayan within 1-2 days, and even after these transfers, they had high-value loans from banks and had mortgages on the real estates.
