New Statements Emerge in AHBAP Investigation Regarding Haluk Levent

The statements of Nurdan Eriş and Sevda Kurt, who were arrested as part of the AHBAP Association corruption investigation, have been revealed. Nurdan Eriş stated that she married Haluk Levent in Switzerland in 2018 and sent him 90 million lira. Sevda Kurt claimed that Haluk Levent promised to marry her and that she gave him millions of lira. Nurdan Eriş stated during her judicial interrogation that she met Haluk Levent in Switzerland in 2016 and said, 'He deceived me. Now I feel like a fool.' Eriş explained that she married Levent in 2018 and sold her company, 'He used me. Most of the time, he would say, ‘I have debts to pay, there are loan sharks, the mafia is after me’' . Eriş also stated that she sent money to AHBAP once and that Levent took advantage of her because she lived abroad. Sevda Kurt, who has been living in the US for 20 years, stated that she lent Haluk Levent 90 million lira. Kurt explained that she met Levent through a letter she wrote to AHBAP and that Levent promised to marry her. 'I learned that he was married 2-3 days ago in the detention center. I believed him. He said we would get married if we paid off his debts' . Kurt stated that she gave Levent the money in dollars and that he disappeared after receiving it.
