AHBAP Scandal: Mahsun Kırmızıgül and Feyza Altun's Statements Revealed

The investigation into the AHBAP Association has taken a significant turn. As part of the investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Mahsun Kırmızıgül and Feyza Altun gave their statements to the prosecutor's office. Mahsun Kırmızıgül made important statements about the association's activities in his statement:

He was once incarcerated in a penal institution. We personally took him to the institution and handed him over. We made great efforts to help him get through these difficult times. Then, in 2023, a major earthquake disaster occurred. At that time, the AHBAP Association made a significant move. I was happy in my heart, both because of the aid to be provided and because I hoped that Haluk Levent would do a better job. As I learn about what has happened and the allegations, I am incredibly saddened. We communicated with AFAD, public institutions, and this association to do what we could. I do not think our country, our citizens, or any human being deserves what has happened. I wish this had not happened. Consciences have been wounded.

Feyza Altun, on the other hand, expressed her regret over the scandal, stating that she had supported the association's work in good faith. The AHBAP Association had been in the spotlight for its charity work and fundraising activities. However, suspicions surrounding the association's activities led to the launch of the investigation.The investigation alleges that donations made to the association were transferred to the accounts of the suspects.
