Investigation Against AHBAP Association: 17 People Detained

A significant development has occurred in the investigation against the AHBAP Association. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a detention order for 17 people. As part of the investigation, Haluk Levent, Yeliz Kaya, and Esin Önder Çağlayan have been accused of unlawfully and fraudulently acquiring assets worth approximately $60 million. According to the case file, Haluk Levent, the founder of Ahbap Derneği, expressed his desire to purchase the company's real estate for the association in order to build a dormitory for underprivileged female university students. Additionally, it is alleged that Feyyaz Akgün was misled during this process, and the company officials did not provide any instructions for the transfer of the properties. These developments indicate that the investigation against the AHBAP Association has taken on a new dimension.
