Stunning Details in Ahbap Derneği Investigation: Messages Between Haluk Levent and His Assistant Revealed

The Istanbul Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the Ahbap Derneği, resulting in the detention of 20 suspects, including the association's president, Haluk Levent. One of the shocking details to emerge from the investigation is that Levent allegedly instructed his assistant to spread news about certain individuals having stomach cancer and seeking financial help. The investigation is being conducted on the grounds of 'opposition to the Law on Associations', 'membership in an organization', and 'laundering assets derived from crime'. It has been alleged that approximately 120 million lira was transferred from the Ahbap Derneği accounts, and that Haluk Levent engaged in betting worth 990 million lira, resulting in a loss of 390 million lira during the process. Additionally, the investigation has uncovered claims that the association's name and donation promises were used to acquire real estate from victims. The Prosecutor's Office has also stated that there are serious indications that the association's accounts were emptied through foreign exchange notes and personal accounts.
