Forest Fire in Adıyaman: Efforts to Contain the Blaze are Underway

A fire that broke out in a grassy area in Adıyaman's Ahmet Hoca village has spread to a nearby forested area due to the wind. Multiple teams from the Forestry Directorate, fire department, AFAD, and other relevant institutions were dispatched to the scene to combat the fire.The teams have begun their efforts to contain the fire from both the air and the ground. Intensive work is being carried out to prevent the fire from reaching residential areas. Security measures have been increased around a nearby solid waste disposal facility, and firefighting efforts are ongoing with the support of teams from neighboring provinces.
