Justice Minister Announces Significant Breakthrough: Unsolved Cases in Agri and Batman Resolved

Turkish Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made a significant announcement on social media. Gürlek revealed that the Nesim Bayram case in Agri, which has been under investigation since 2013, and the Evindar Tığrak case in Batman, which has been missing since 2025, have been resolved.The Ministry of Justice, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Criminal Affairs, has re-examined the cases that have deeply wounded the public conscience. Gürlek stated that all possibilities have been mobilized to ensure justice.The Minister announced significant developments in the Nesim Bayram case in Agri, which has been under investigation since 2013.Gürlek stated that in the Agri case, the prosecutor's office has conducted investigations using current analysis methods, and new witnesses and evidence have been found, resulting in the detention of suspects in a case that has gone unsolved for approximately 13 years.New findings have also been discovered in the Evindar Tığrak case in Batman, which has been missing since 2025. Gürlek stated that in the Batman case, HTS, PTS, forensic findings, biological traces on the vehicle, witness statements, and technical data have been evaluated together, and legal proceedings have been initiated to bring the perpetrators to justice.
