Minister of Justice Gürlek's Statement on Ahbap Association Investigation

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced that operations are being carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office within the scope of the Ahbap Association investigation. Initially, 22 detentions were made and the examination of MASAK reports is ongoing. Emphasizing that the investigation may expand in the future, Gürlek also stated that Ahbap Association President Haluk Levent was detained for attempting to flee despite a travel ban.Minister Gürlek's statements are related to both the Ahbap Association investigation and the investigation into the helicopter crash that killed the Chairman of the Great Unity Party, Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu. Within the scope of this investigation, new detentions have been made, including retired soldiers.
