The attack injured 2 people. According to Iranian state television, the railroad connection station in Bandar Abbas, near the Strait of Hormuz, was attacked. This attack is the latest operation by the US against Iran's infrastructure, following the targeting of two bridges in the city of Bandar Hamir in the Hormozgan province. Iran continues to respond to US attacks by targeting US military bases and other targets in the region. Iranian Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi stated that if attacks on Iran's infrastructure continue, all infrastructure in the region will be targeted.
