16 Children Found in Poor Conditions in the US

During a search conducted by security forces in Ohio, USA, it was discovered that 16 children had been living in poor conditions in a single room for years. The children's ages range from 1.5 to 18. Vinton Region Sheriff Ryan Cain stated that the children were found in an environment filled with human waste and extremely unhealthy conditions. Sheriff Cain described the scene they encountered as 'disgusting', saying that even livestock live in better conditions than these children.The authorities reported that some of the children cannot speak, and an 18-year-old with developmental disabilities cannot even spell their own name. The Sheriff's Office stated that the children spend most of their time in a single room of approximately 13 square meters, but there are no cages in the house.Seven of the rescued children were taken to hospitals in Columbus, while two were airlifted to trauma centers. Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson said that one of the children is in critical condition and has been intubated.
