US Removes Iraqi Airline from Sanctions List

The US Department of the Treasury has removed the Iraqi airline Fly Baghdad from its sanctions list, after previously imposing sanctions due to alleged ties to the Revolutionary Guards. The company was added to the sanctions list in January 2024, for allegedly providing logistical support to the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard. The removal of Fly Baghdad from the sanctions list may be seen as a sign of the US re-evaluating its relationship with Iran.
