US Halts Plans for Patriot Production in Ukraine

It has been suggested that the US considers producing Patriot air defense system missiles in Poland instead of Ukraine, deeming it a safer option. Kiev's goal of localizing production on its own territory has reportedly been met with a lukewarm response from Washington. Kiev continues to pursue its plans to localize Patriot production in Ukraine. However, the US is taking a more cautious approach to these plans. It is stated that Washington has opted for Poland and the production is planned within the framework of the US-Poland-Ukraine format. The production of PAC-3 type missiles for Patriot systems is expected to be localized in Poland. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy aims to discuss this issue with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during their meeting.
