US Military Capacity Crisis: 'We Will Defend Either Israel or the US'

A leaked confidential assessment note to the Pentagon has revealed an alarming situation in the US military's war capacity. US European Commanding General Alexus Grynkewich stated that due to dwindling missile stocks and destroyer shortages, it has become impossible to protect both Israel and the US mainland simultaneously.
As the US-Iran war enters its fifth month, the US Navy's capabilities are nearing exhaustion. The leaked Pentagon report exposes the dire situation of the military capacity. Grynkewich warned that the navy's insufficient warship and missile stocks mean the military cannot defend both Israel and the US mainland at the same time.
The intense interventions against ballistic missiles launched by Iran and Yemen's Houthis have put a heavy burden on the US military's air defense systems. The guided missile destroyers in the Eastern Mediterranean and the THAAD air defense system on land have countered most of the attacks on Israel so far.
However, the high operational tempo over the months has led to a rapid depletion of missile stocks. The erosion of these stocks in the US Navy, which plays a more active role than Israel's own defense systems, has triggered a serious competition and crisis within the Pentagon regarding resource allocation to the region.
