US Expands Attacks on Iran: Tehran Hit for the First Time, War Alert in the Strait of Hormuz Grows

The US has expanded its military operations against Iran, targeting areas around Tehran for the first time. Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks on Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, warning that it will target regional infrastructure if the attacks continue. The escalating tensions around the Strait of Hormuz are also affecting markets. According to Iranian state media, the attacks targeted the capital and several provinces, including Semnan, Hamedan, Hormozgan, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Markazi, and Sistan and Baluchestan. Iranian officials announced that more than 35 people were killed and over 300 injured in the recent attacks.
