US Strikes Over 80 Targets in Iran, Tehran Vows 'Crushing Response'

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the recent airstrikes against Iran have been completed, with over 80 targets hit. Iran, in turn, warned of a 'crushing response' to the attacks.
According to CENTCOM's statement, US forces targeted Iran's air defense systems, command and control networks, coastal radars, and anti-ship missile capabilities, as well as over 60 speedboats belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement noted that the operations aimed to weaken Iran's ability to attack commercial ships in international trade corridors, and that US forces are prepared to hold Iran responsible if the agreement is not adhered to.
Iranian state television IRIB reported that the Iranian Armed Forces' Hatemu'l Enbiya Central Headquarters announced that it would respond 'crushingly' to the US attacks.
The statement emphasized that any interference with the management of the Strait of Hormuz would not be tolerated, and that the only safe route for ships passing through the strait would be the one designated by Iran.
Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei's advisor and former commander of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, stated that 'Trump is intent on attacking again, and we are completely ready'.
